Schefflera delavayi is one of the larger leaved Scheffleras available to plant collectors and lovers of all things jungly.  Even more exciting, Schefflera delavayi is also amongst one of the hardiest forms too, meaning it can be tried in gardens all over the UK barring very cold locations.  Given shelter from strong winds and dappled shade, this woodlander, originally from the wooded forests of Northern China, can reach up to 4m in height.  Being evergreen, it makes a spectacular, very exotic specimen with real year-round interest.

Plant in fertile well drained soil, positioned in dappled shade, away from strong winds for best effect.
