Grevillea Olympic Flame - 3ltr pot

The plant Grevillea alpina 'Olympic Flame', also known as the mountain or alpine grevillea, is a compact, evergreen shrub with striking pink and cream or reddish flowers. This Australian native is popular with pollinators and can flower for much of the year, especially in a sheltered location. 

Key features

• Foliage: The shrub has narrow to broadly elliptic, dark green, and sharply pointed leaves.
• Flowers: The "spider-like" flowers are a mix of reddish-pink and cream, appearing in dense, slightly weeping clusters. They can bloom over a long period, from late winter into summer and sometimes year-round in milder climates.
• Size: Expect an ultimate height and spread of 1.5–2.5 metres, which is typically reached in 10 to 20 years.
• Habit: It has a compact, bushy, and rounded form. 

Growing conditions

• Sunlight: This grevillea prefers full sun.
• Soil: Plant it in moderately fertile, well-drained soil with a neutral to slightly acidic pH. It will not tolerate shallow, chalky soil.
