- Flowers: In autumn, mature plants produce clusters of small, white, globular flowers, which attract pollinators.
- Berries: These flowers are followed by small, round, black berries in the winter, which are often enjoyed by birds.
- Growth habit: It is a bushy, upright shrub with a moderate growth rate. it can reach an eventual height and spread of 3 metres over 10 to 20 years.
Growing and care
- Sunlight: 'Camouflage' thrives in partial to full shade. While it can tolerate some sun, afternoon sunlight should be avoided to prevent scorching the leaves.
- Soil: Plant in moist but well-drained, fertile soil. Enriching the soil with organic matter will help it retain moisture.
- Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist, especially during dry spells and for potted plants. Reduce watering during the winter.
