Fatsia polycarpa Green Fingers - 2ltr pot
£15.00
Fatsia polycarpa 'Green Fingers' is a relatively new and exciting evergreen shrub that adds a tropical feel to gardens with its large, deeply lobed leaves. This variety is known for its finer, more delicate "fingers" compared to the more common Fatsia japonica.
Appearance
- Foliage: It features large, handsome, and deeply divided palmate leaves with a matt, dark green finish. This gives it a more open and airier feel than other Fatsia species.
- Flowers and berries: In autumn and early winter, it produces terminal inflorescences composed of ball-shaped clusters of creamy white flowers. These flowers are a valuable nectar source for bees and butterflies. The blooms are followed by small, purplish-black fruit in the spring.
- Mature size: The shrub can reach an eventual height of 2 to 4 metres and a spread of 2 to 2.5 metres, though it grows slowly.
