Pellaea rotundifolia, commonly known as the button fern or New Zealand cliff brake, is a popular, compact evergreen fern native to New Zealand, Australia, and Norfolk Island. It is widely cultivated as a houseplant due to its tolerance for a drier indoor atmosphere compared to most ferns.
