£10.00

The first picture is of one in our garden to demonstrate the beauty and size of the flower of these lilies.  the other pictures are of teh plants we have for sale.

The plant features large, hooded spathes that are deep maroon to near-black, wrapping around a long, dark, central spadix. Its stems are often mottled with dark spots, resembling a "giraffe's neck" or snakeskin. It produces handsome, deeply divided, finger-like leaves that are sometimes streaked with white or silver. For 24–48 hours after opening, the flower emits a strong scent of rotting meat to attract pollinating flies. Typically grows between 90 cm and 1.5 m (3–5 ft) tall.
