Arbutus unedo, commonly known as the Strawberry Tree, is a versatile evergreen shrub or small tree prized for its year-round ornamental value. While the berries are edible and high in vitamin C, they are often described as bland, mealy, or gritty. They are more commonly used in preserves, jams and liqueurs. It is a slow-growing plant, typically reaching 5–8 metres in height and spread over 20 years.  Full sun.
