Hibiscus moscheutos PLANET® Solène ('Tansol') is a vigorous, hardy perennial swamp mallow featuring massive, dinnerplate-sized pink flowers (18 to 25 cm across) with distinctive red veining and a deep crimson centre.

• Flowers: Light to bright pink with purple-red veins and a dark maroon eye, blooming from July through September.

• Foliage: Deciduous dark green leaves with attractive crimson and purple reflections that emerge in late spring.

• Size: Reaches an ultimate height and spread of about 1.5 meters (approx. 5 feet).

• Growth Habit: Herbaceous perennial where the above-ground growth dies back to the ground with the first frost, returning with fresh shoots in late spring (April to May)
• Hardiness: Hardy down to roughly -15°C to -25°C depending on conditions; mulching the base in cold winter climates is strongly recommended.
